HOUSTON – A woman was sent to the hospital in serious condition early Tuesday after she was found shot at a southwest Houston apartment complex, police said.
According to the Houston Police Department, it was around 4 a.m. when officers were called to reports of a shooting in the 5600 block of Chimney Rock.
They found the woman with at least one gunshot wound to her chest or stomach.
Police said it could be a self-inflicted wound.
