HOUSTON – Houston police are investigating the death of a Sugar Land man whose body was found inside a luxury car in west Houston Monday morning.
The man’s body was found inside a white Bentley, which had crashed into a ditch, in the 6200 block of Beverly Hill near Greenridge around 5:30 a.m. Police said he had been shot multiple times.
Police are looking for more than one suspect because shell casings from two different weapons were found at the scene. They are certain the victim did not return fire.
“It doesn’t look like the complainant had a chance to return fire or anything like that from what we could see without going into the vehicle. It doesn’t look like he had any kind of weapon, it actually doesn’t look like he knew they were coming up on him,” said
Police are also weighing the possibility that the victim was not alone in the car. They found a woman’s handbag in the passenger seat, but no one else was in the car with him when they arrived.
Police have not released the victim’s identity, but said he was in his 30s and in the process of opening a gentleman’s club on Richmond Avenue.
