CROSBY, Texas – Sheriff’s investigators and the FBI are searching for a suspect they said robbed an east Harris County bank drive-through.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office bomb squad was called to the United Commerce Credit Union located in the 14,000 block of Crosby-Lynchburg near Highway 90 to handle the explosive that was sent to the teller.
The teller said around 11:20 a.m., a man in a white Chevy Impala drove into the bank’s-drive through and sent up a bag with a device and a note demanding money. The teller said the device appeared to be a bomb.
The teller panicked and filled the bag with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect, who they said appears to be in his 30s or 40s, is still on the loose.
