HOUSTON -- Crime Stoppers and investigators with the Houston Police Department’s Homicide Division are asking for the public’s help as they continue to search for the suspect responsible murdering 20-year-old Richard “Richie” Paul Corbello Jr.
Police say Corbello’s body was found by a witness in the 5300 block of Lost Forest in Houston around 7:00 a.m. on December 19, 2012.
Upon arrival, investigators found Corbello in his parked pickup truck. He was shot once in the back of his head.
Investigators say no weapons were found at the scene, and a review of area surveillance systems revealed no suspects.
After more than a month of investigating, homicide detectives are still searching for a motive in the crime and for the person responsible.
