HOUSTON – A rollover crash caused a traffic nightmare for drivers west of downtown early Monday.

Houston firefighters were called to Allen Parkway near Montrose where a silver sedan flipped and came to a stop upside down near a group of trees along Buffalo Bayou.

An ambulance took at least one person to the hospital in unknown condition.

Westbound traffic was brought to a complete stop for more than 30 minutes.

While the roads were slick from early-morning showers, it wasn’t immediately known what caused the driver to crash.
