RICHMOND — Richmond police hope a new sketch will help them nab the robber who ambushed a woman at gunpoint last week.

The victim and her husband were getting in their vehicle on South 4th Street when the suspect demanded her purse. He pointed a black semi-automatic pistol at her and she handed over the handbag.

It happened on the afternoon of February 4.

The suspect was last seen running westbound on Calhoun Street.

Victims described the robber as a clean-cut older teen wearing a grey wool letterman-type jacket with blue sleeves. He has short hair on the sides and a flat top. The suspect is thin and about 5’8 inches tall.

If you have information about the crime, you could be eligible for a $5,000 reward.

Richmond Police Detectives are requesting anyone with identifying details on the suspect or circumstances surrounding this incident to please contact the Richmond Police Department at (281) 342-2849 or Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at 281-342-TIPS(8477).
