FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas -- Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward in hopes of catching several suspects wanted for burglarizing a home in the Riverpark West subdivision in the Richmond area on July 22.
On Monday, Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a burglary call at a home in the 22200 block of Winter Sky Lane. They reviewed several surveillance videos from area homes and noticed a white, 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix—possibly a GT model—drive by the home several times between 9 and 9:45 a.m., according to the time stamp.
The vehicle first stopped curbside and the driver walked to the front door and appeared to ring the doorbell. The vehicle left and passed by the home once more before pulling into the driveway.
Three men jumped out of the vehicle and ran to the side of the home and into the back yard. They gained entry by breaking a glass door.
While they were inside, the vehicle pulled back and left the area, only to return about 20 minutes later. The suspects got away with jewelry and one handgun, investigators said.
One suspect was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans, another with a blue shirt and a third had on all-black clothing and had a hood over his head.
Information which leads to the apprehension and filing of charges on the suspects involved could earn a reward of up to $5,000.
