TOMBALL, Texas – Deputies have a suspect in custody they think is responsible for setting a four-alarm fire overnight in Tomball.
Firefighters say it started around 2 a.m. at American Coating company’s paint manufacturing plant. They let the building burn as chemicals were inside the plant. Haz-Mat, though, said the vapors were not hazardous.
Authorities evacuated houses across the street as well as a pet grooming business next door containing 125 animals.
No injuries were reported as a result of the flames.
