HOUSTON -- A former prison guard who is accused of murdering his wife and mother-in-law was escorted into the Rosenberg police station Friday afternoon after landing back in Texas.
Albert Turner had been on the run and was caught earlier this month in North Carolina, authorities said.
“He seems glad to have this over with, the running part. I haven’t really talked to him much, but yes, he’s fine,”
Lt. Bryan Leach said.
Rosenberg police were questioning Turner about the crime and trying to determine what charges he would face.
