MANVEL, Texas-- Sixteen different vehicles were burglarized in the Rodeo Palms subdivision, and police hope someone will recognize the crooks from surveillance video.

It happened in the wee hours of the morning on July 18.

Ronald Smith woke up a few hours later and couldn't believe his eyes.

"It was like they were starting at one end of the neighborhood and working their way down," Smith said. "It was very frustrating."

Smith admits he doesn't always lock up his cars at night and learned the hard way.

"He took $40 and took my coin change," Smith said. "I guess he didn't want to take the pennies so he took the silver and left the pennies so I couldn't even use that for the Beltway."

One neighbor managed to record the crooks trying handles at his house, but all of the cars were locked.

Sergeant Jason Scates with Manvel Police hopes someone recognizes at least one of the suspects in the video. They got away with golf clubs, tools and other loot.

"Female purses, wallets, iPods, GPS, radar detectors," said Sgt. Scates. “Small things that can be grabbed."

Now, they're hoping to grab the bad guys with your help.

If you have any information, call Manvel Police at (281) 489-1212 or Brazoria County Crime Stoppers at 800-460-2222.
