SPLENDORA, Texas—Authorities are looking for the suspect responsible for robbing a Splendora bank Saturday morning.
Around 11:30 a.m., the suspect entered the First Bank and Trust of East Texas at US-59 and FM 2090 and gave the teller a threatening note saying he had a gun.
The man, described to be in his early- to mid-twenties and approximately 5 feet, 11 inches tall, fled in a silver Dodge Club Cab -- possibly a 2010 model. The car also had a chrome gas cap.
He was last seen traveling north on Old Highway 59.
It was the first robbery in the bank’s 12-year history.
