HOUSTON – Police are searching for a suspect they say is responsible for a string of drug store burglaries in the Houston area.
Police said the suspect has broken into 12 drug stores after closing time. During the burglaries, he breaks into the stores by throwing heavy objects through the door, then steals as many cigarette packs as possible before leaving.
Authorities describe the suspect as heavy set and said he appears to work alone.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (713) 222 – TIPS. A reward of up to $5,000 will be given for information leading to an arrest.
