DICKINSON, Texas – Dickinson police have released a composite sketch of the suspect who kidnapped and sexually assaulted a 12-year-old girl last week.

The child was walking in the 3900 block of Cinnamon Cove Street when she was dragged into a wooded area on January 3. She managed to get away after she was assaulted. It happened just before 1 p.m.

The victim was able to give investigators a detailed description of the suspect. He is described as a white or Hispanic male, around 5’7 and 170 pounds. He is believed to be in his 20s and has a cross tattoo on his left cheek.

The suspect was wearing a black and gray knit cap, a yellow hoodie jacket and yellow pants of a "windbreaker" type material.

"She’s a child, man," said the girl’s mother last week. "This is disgusting. (The attacker) needs to be caught and if there is anybody that knows anything about him talk (to police)."

Anyone with information that can help detectives find their suspect should call Dickinson Police at 281-337-4700 or Crime Stoppers at 409-945-8477.
