LA MARQUE, Texas — A woman abducted at gunpoint from a Houston parking lot, tied up and forced into her car’s trunk was found safe, and police arrested two suspects, authorities said Tuesday.

Linzale Greer, 20, and a 16-year-old boy were charged with aggravated kidnapping, stemming from the Monday incident in Houston, La Marque police Lt. Greg Gilchrist said.

Bond for Greer was set at $250,000, and the teenager was placed into juvenile detention, Gilchrist said. Police withheld the teen’s name because of his age.

Daily Delgado, 20, of Houston, told police she feared for her life after she was abducted by two men from a dollar store parking lot at Lockwood Drive near Highway 610.

Attempts to reach Delgado were unsuccessful.

"One had a gun," Gilchrist said. "They put it to her head and told her to get in the back seat of the vehicle. They drove a short distance, tied her up and put her in the trunk."

Gilchrist didn’t immediately know the time of the abduction or how long the woman was in the trunk of her car.

The abductors stopped along the way, but the woman didn’t know where, Gilchrist said.

When the car stopped at the La Marque Walmart on Interstate 45, the woman freed herself through the back seat, Gilchrist said.

"She immediately ran to the first person she saw and called for help," Gilchrist said.

Officers responded to the 10 p.m. call and found the woman unharmed, Gilchrist said.

"The two individuals had gone into the store, and when they were coming out, officers took them into custody," Gilchrist said.

The pair, who also reside in Houston, were arrested without incident, Gilchrist said.

Greer was in the booking line at the Galveston County Jail on Tuesday afternoon, sheriff’s Capt. Barry Cook said. Greer also was held on an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle warrant from Harris County, Cook said. That bond was set at $15,000, he said.
