HOUSTON - The thieves are really busy this holiday season and it seems that absolutely nothing is off limits. According to police, they are following delivery trucks, robbing metal, burglarizing homes of Christmas gifts, stealing beer and are removing the wheels off of luxury cars.
Residents in the Core apartment complex near downtown Houston awakened to find an unpleasant surprise waiting in their parking lot this morning.
Police are now tracking down thieves who allegedly burglarized several expensive cars Monday night. Their wheels had been removed and their cars were sitting on cinder blocks.
