HOUSTON – Police are hoping the public can help identify a suspect wanted for at least two sexual assaults near Hobby Airport.
The first case happened on the morning of December 31, 2012. Two women accepted a ride from a man near the intersection of Glencrest and Airport Boulevard. The women got into the green Ford Mustang, and one of them was dropped off near Airport and Monroe.
The second woman asked to be taken to another location. Instead, the suspect parked near an abandoned building in the 8900 block of the Gulf Freeway. He used the child safety locks to prevent the woman from escaping. He then struck her in the face and raped her while choking her.
The second assault happened on February 8. The suspect approached a 28-year-old woman walking along the 8900 block of Airport Boulevard. He asked her to accompany him to a nearby hotel.
Instead of going to the hotel, the suspect drove to an abandoned warehouse. He struck the woman and choked her while sexually assaulting her. The woman fought back and was able to escape. She fled to a nearby convenience store.

At the time of the assaults, the suspect had medium-length hair, a mustache and a dark brown complexion. Witnesses report that the suspect speaks with a Spanish accent.
