Police: Man stabs Metro passenger for holding up the bus in downtown

HOUSTON – A man stabbed a Metro passenger for holding up the bus on Friday afternoon, according to Metro police.

The incident happened in downtown Houston at Fannin and Lamar.

According to metro police, one man was asking a lot of questions, holding the doors open, standing in the street and preventing the bus from continuing its route.

The suspect stabbed the man.

The victim had superficial wounds and was in stable condition.

The suspect will be charged with assault and was in police custody.
