HOUSTON – Investigators believe a body found in White Oak Bayou on Monday morning is that of a homeless man.
A cyclist found the man’s body around 10:15 a.m. near Interstate 10 at Studemont, according to the Houston Police Department.
Once on the scene, the cyclist guided an officer down to where the body was located.
Police said the man may have drowned while trying to use the restroom. His body was close to the water but not in it at the time of its discovery.
