HOUSTON -- Investigators are trying to sort out the details of a family squabble that turned deadly between siblings Thursday. It happened in the 22,700 block of Earlmist in north Harris County.

The Precinct 4 Constables Office said 24-year-old Jordan Williamson called his mother and told her that he had shot his younger sister, Jessica, after an argument. The mother then called authorities, who went to the scene.  Around 4:15 a.m., deputies found 22-year-old Jessica in the living room dead from a gunshot wound. They then began to search for her brother.
Jordan had fled the home in a family vehicle and had several weapons with him.   He was then spotted by a member of the Gulf Coast Violent Task Force. After a brief chase, the suspect stopped in the 22,600 block of Aldine Westfield and shot himself in the head, according to police.
He was transported to Memorial Hermann hospital in critical condition.
