Police: $40,000 in fake money, drugs found in search of Dickinson home

DICKINSON, Texas — Five Dickinson residents were charged in connection with the seizure of drugs, cash, weapons and counterfeit money, authorities said Thursday.

Dickinson police searched a residence Wednesday in the 2500 block of Avenue G and seized weapons, $44,000 in phony money and 8 ounces of crack cocaine, authorities said.

Bonds for Ricky Dequincy Walker, 34, and Brandon Ross Hill, 28, were set at $750,000 each on charges of possession of cocaine with intent to deliver, felon in possession of a firearm and forgery, Dickinson police said.

Shonnon Deon Jenkins, 29, was charged with felon in possession of firearm and had bond set at $250,000, police said.

Codi Machelle Easter, 28, and Christina Marie Lazard, 23, were charged with possession of cocaine with intent to deliver and forgery. Easter’s bond was set at $90,000 and Lazard’s was $60,000.

Dickinson police were assisted by narcotics officers from Galveston police and the state Department of Public Safety, along with agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
