MISSOURI CITY, Texas – A worker at a Missouri City Pizza Hut was robbed and forced into a freezer Tuesday.

It happened around 10:30 a.m. at the restaurant in the 7100 block of Highway 6.

The manager had just returned from the bank to open for business. The robber was waiting for her inside.

He rounded the corner with a double-barrel shotgun and demanded she open the safe. The gunman then ordered her to get into the walk-in freezer.

She waited until she was sure he was gone, then went next door to call the police.

The robber got away. Police suspect this was an inside job or a former employee because he knew the code to get in the back door.

They are hoping surveillance videos will help identify him.
