Twenty two shotgun-style homes in the heart of the Third Ward were rescued by Project Row Houses. The group then developed them into a center for art and cultural education programs, which celebrate African-American history and culture. They also provide community services and galleries for local artists. This image is an example of one artist's work in a row house. Project Row Houses is free and open to the public for tours. Located at 2500 Holman. Online: http://www.projectrowhouses.org
