HOUSTON – A pedestrian was killed early Saturday morning after he was hit while attempting to cross the East Freeway, according to the Houston Police Department.
Police said that at about 1 a.m. a man tried to cross I-10 near Centerwood Drive in an unprotected area. He was coming from the south side of the freeway, and was trying to cross the eastbound lanes when a black Jaguar sports car ran him over.
The man died at the scene, police said. The driver of the Jaguar was not charged.
