HOUSTON – A pedestrian was killed Sunday morning in a hit-and-run accident on Veterans Memorial Drive in northwest Houston, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the accident happened at 7 a.m. on Veterans Memorial near Morewood Drive after a man was struck by a vehicle in the dense heavy fog.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, deputies said.
