HOUSTON – A female pedestrian was killed Saturday night after she tried to cross State Highway 6 south of Clay Creek Drive.
Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said that the woman was heading west at 2 a.m. when she tried to cross Hwy 6 and failed to yield the right of way. She was struck by a brown 2009 Toyota Camry heading south.
When Emergency Medical Service personnel arrived to find that the woman had died at the scene of the accident.
This crash remains under investigation by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office’s Traffic Enforcement Section.
