HOUSTON—Pasadena police sent out a warning to convenience store workers Thursday after two armed masked men robbed at least five stores in the area.

Surveillance video shows a mother and her two young daughters shopping at the Texaco located on the 2600 hundred block of Spencer Highway. Then, all of a sudden, two men with masks and a sawed-off shot gun walked in and robbed the place.

The mother was terrified. She quickly grabbed her girls and held them tightly in her arms. She was scared the armed men would shoot them.

Investigators said the same two criminals hit four other stores in the last month. On Highway 225, and Strawberry and Preston streets. Police said the criminals targeted the places between 10 p.m. and midnight. They got away with $1,200 from Jack’s Grocery Store.

The store clerks said they are very nervous knowing the criminals are still on the streets. One clerk said he thought he would be shot.

Pasadena police don’t have a good description of the suspects. They believe the getaway car is  a dark-colored Ford Expedition.

Anyone with information is asked to call Pasadena police.
