PASADENA, Texas -- The mayor of Pasadena is catching heat after allegedly bringing a gun to a city council meeting on Tuesday.
After the council meeting, Mayor Johnny Isbell was standing around talking to other council members and citizens.
“I was standing next to the mayor when he bends over and a firearm fell out of his side,” said Pasadena Council Member Cody Wheeler.
A sign outside the council chambers states, “No weapons allowed.”
Mayor Isbell told a reporter he was packing a pellet gun, and he did not return KHOU’s phone calls for further comments.
