HOUSTON -- One woman was taken to the hospital after a fire at the Warwick Towers in the Houston Museum District.

The fire at 1111 Hermann started on the 26th floor Monday afternoon and the building was evacuated.

The injured woman tried to put out the flames herself, according to the Houston Fire Department. She is being treated for smoke inhalation.

No one else was hurt.

Firefighters pulled a second alarm, which is standard with high-rise fires.

The fire was under control shortly before 6 p.m.

Metro reported some light rail delays because of the fire.
