HOUSTON— A police officer was struck by a car while riding his patrol motorcycle early Saturday morning.
Around 3:30 a.m., a Precinct 6 officer was traveling north on I-45 near Crosstimbers when a woman driving a car allegedly stopped and attempted a U-turn, hitting the officer.
Neither party was seriously injured.
The officer was traveling home after his shift at the time of the accident.
