HOUSTON -– Houston firefighters were called to an auto repair business on the northeast side of town late Monday.
According to the Houston Fire Department, the blaze was reported on Laura Koppe Road at Peachtree Street around 10:45 p.m.
A worker who lives in a trailer on the property said his electricity went out, and he went outside and found the fire. He tried to put water on it with a water hose and then called 911.
Firefighters put the blaze out and said one vehicle in the shop was destroyed. No injuries were reported.
A cause for the fire was not immediately determined.
