HOUSTON – There is a new vote involving restrooms at the University of Houston-Downtown. The main question is, “Who is allowed to use them?”

UH-Downtown Vice President Kristopher Sharp is spearheading an effort to convert six of the campuses 60 restrooms into gender neutral facilities.

“It’s really about an issue of equal access,” Sharp said.
