HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – The Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department kept busy with a house fire late Tuesday night on the northwest side of town.

Firefighters responded to a blaze on Pioneer Ridge Drive near Enchanted Creek Drive around 10:20 p.m. They found fire and smoke coming from a two-story home.

Crews were able to put out the fire before it destroyed the entire home. The property was vacant at the time, and no injuries reported.

Neighbors said the home was used as a marijuana ‘grow house’ but was raided three months ago.

The Harris County Fire Marshal is investigating the blaze, which they say is suspicious since no one was living there.
