HARRIS COUNTY, Texas -- A 69-year-old man was sent to the hospital in critical condition after it’s believed he ran a red light and slammed into the side of an SUV, deputies said.
The crash happened on the northside at Aldine Bender Road at Aldine Westfield Road around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the rider ran a light at the intersection and slammed into an SUV with several people inside.
The crash was so intense it set off the side-impact airbags on the SUV. No one in the vehicle was injured.
