HOUSTON - A woman has filed a complaint with Internal Affairs at the Houston Police Department claiming that officers assaulted her son while serving an arrest warrant.
Police said they were serving an arrest warrant for Aldemond Gabriel on a robbery charge when the suspect hid inside a bathroom.
Police said that they had to use a K-9 unit to subdue Gabriel.
However, the suspects mother claims that the officers went too far.
"He said they called him (racial slur) a hundred times and kicked him in his head and beat him," Gabriel's mother, who asked not to be on camera during an interview with KHOU 11 News, said. "Whether he had a warrant for his arrest, no person deserved that."
