HOUSTON—A judge on Monday raised the bail amount for a woman accused of plotting an attack on her own daughter.
Deanna Horne will now need $50,000 to get out of jail.
According to investigators, Horne orchestrated a plot that involved two robbers – Michael Hendricks and Joseph Hill – holding her 14-year-old daughter at gunpoint at her father’s home in northwest Harris County on Friday.
But the plan went awry when the girl’s father heard the commotion and shot Hendricks in the stomach.
He survived, and both he and Hill were arrested.
