HUMBLE, Texas—Investigators are trying to determine who shot a man at a pool hall in Humble late Thursday.

An Humble police officer was walking out of the police station around 10 p.m. when he heard gun shots. He then saw panicked people running in the parking lot across the street at a pool hall on W. Main at Bender Avenue, according to police.

The officer rushed over and immediately detained two people, not knowing if they were suspects. When he made it to the front door of the bar, he found one man shot an unknown number of times.

The victim was airlifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital in serious condition. Investigators are interviewing a number of people to try and determine what exactly happened.
