HOUSTON – An argument between two men turned fatal after one of them was shot and killed outside a southwest Houston restaurant early Sunday.
According to the Houston Police Department, it happened at 3:30 a.m. at Taqueria Cancun, located in the 8000 block of South Gessner just off the Southwest Freeway.
Investigators said 38-year-old Luis Medrano, who was with his wife and daughters, got into an argument with another man at the restaurant. They had to be escorted out by security, but the two continued to fight in the parking lot.
That is when the suspect went to his vehicle and Medrano followed him, police said. The suspect then pulled a gun from his car and shot him.
The victim died at the scene, police said. They have not released a description of the suspect or his vehicle at this time.
