HOUSTON – A man was shot in the head during a home invasion Tuesday in Brazoria County.
It happened at about 2:30 p.m. in the 21000 block of Highway 35.
Investigators said a man and woman were inside the house when someone knocked on the door. When they answered they found a man with a gun who apparently forced himself inside, and then ran into the back to let an accomplice inside.
Then they both led the man and woman into a bathroom and at some point a shot was fired and the man was hit in the head, investigators said.
The home invaders fled with an X-box and VCR.
The victim was taken by Life Flight to a hospital. There was no word on his condition.
