HOUSTON -– Police said a man was shot by a relative at a home in northwest Houston late Wednesday.
It happened on E. 40th ½ Street at N. Main Street around 10:30 p.m., according to officers with the Houston Police Department.
Police responded to a shooting call and found the victim with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was sent to the hospital in serious but stable condition.
According to HPD, the suspect in the case is a relative of the victim. Apparently the shooting was preceded by an ongoing feud between the two.
