HOUSTON - Investigators think a 24-year-old man on a motorcycle was going to fast when he went flying off an east Houston bridge late Friday night.

The Houston Police Department said that the man was traveling north at about 10:15 p.m. on Staff Sgt. Macario Garcia Drive near Avenue W when he lost control of his Yamaha motorcycle, hit a concrete barrier and flipped over it.

He then fell 30 feet to the ground and was killed.

Medical examiners are also checking to see if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
