HOUSTON – Harris County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a drive-by shooter who opened fire on a man standing in the parking lot of a strip center on Highway 6 Wednesday night.
Deputies said a man was standing outside a cell phone store on Highway 6 at Pavilion Pt. around 9 p.m. when an unknown suspect drove by and shot him once in the chest.
The victim ran into a smoke shop in the center and asked for help. He was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital in serious, but stable condition.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
