HOUSTON --- Harris County sheriff’s deputies need the public’s help to find out who shot and killed a hotel guest in northwest Harris County Tuesday evening.

Several guests called deputies after hearing shots fired in one of the rooms of the In Town Suites located in the 1600 block of Rolling Creek at FM 1960 around 9:30 p.m.

Deputies arrived to find a 24-year-old man lying dead on the floor. They said the victim appeared to have been shot several times.

The man was an out-of-towner who was registered at the hotel with a woman who was working at the time. The woman said she had no idea who or why anyone would do this.

Deputies said there were no drugs found and no sign of forced entry.

They have no suspects or motives at this time.
