HOUSTON – A man who was walking through a construction zone in north Harris County Thursday night was critically injured after being struck by a car, according to Harris County Sheriff’s deputies.
It happened on Aldine Mail Road at Reeveston around 8:15 p.m.
Deputies said the man was attempting to walk across the two-lane road, which was under construction, and stepped out between two orange barrels in the road.
A passing motorist did not see the man until it was too late and ended up striking him.
