HOUSTON -- A man was taken into custody early Sunday morning after leading police on a chase.
Houston police said around 5:00 a.m. they attempted to pull over a truck near Bellfort and the South Loop.
The driver didn't stop and then led police on a chase around the West Loop north to I-45. Once on I-45, the truck was spiked and came to a stop on the north bound feeder near Loutta.
Officers took the black male suspect into custody. He was given a breathalyzer test at the scene.
His truck had extensive damage, including flat tires, front end damage and a missing wheel.
Officials did not say what the initial reason for stopping him was or what charges he will face.
