HOUSTON—A man accused of impersonating an Army general is scheduled to face a judge in Houston Monday morning.

Michael McManus, 44, was arrested Friday night over an incident that happened in December.

McManus allegedly wore an unauthorized, fully decorated U.S. Army general’s uniform at Mayor Annise Parker’s victory party.

McManus served in the Army from 1984 to 1987, but only as a private first class.

He could face up to three years in prison and a fine of up to $120,000 if convicted.
