TOMBALL, Texas – Law enforcement officials did not find any evidence of a bomb at Lone Star College-Tomball and issued an all clear Wednesday.
The threat was received just after 1:30 p.m. and forced the evacuation of Lone Star College’s Tomball campus early Wednesday afternoon, school officials said.
The school said classes and operations were cancelled as a precautionary measure “until further notice.” All students were advised to leave the campus and stay away.
The threat was apparently phoned into the school. Officials sent out a text message alert to its students shortly after.
After an investigation, the scene was cleared at about 4:40 p.m.
Normal operating hours are set to resume at 10 a.m. on Thursday.
