Alabama-Coushatta Head Start Program will be delayed two hours Thursday

Aldine ISD -- has canceled all after-school and evening activities for Wednesday, Feb. 9.

Alief ISD has canceled all after-school activities scheduled for Wednesday, February 9.

Ascension Episcopal School and ECP will close all programs Wednesday at 4 p.m.

Bearrington School in Stafford – closing at 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Bellville ISD will close at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, February 9

Brazos ISD will close early Wednesday due to weather conditions. Buses ran at 1:30 p.m. Car riders were dismissed at 1 p.m. or as soon as parents were contacted.

Brenham ISD—Due to inclement weather conditions, all schools will close today, Wednesday, February 9, at 12:30 p.m.  All scheduled activities for today have been canceled.

Channelview ISD – all after-school and evening events scheduled for Wednesday have been canceled.

College of the Mainland – campus will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, and all evening classes are canceled. The campus will reopen at the regularly scheduled time on Thursday.

Columbia Brazoria ISD – All after-school activities canceled Wednesday.

Columbus ISD – schools will close at 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Crosby ISD – all after-school activities canceled Wednesday. All students should go home immediately after the regular school day ends.

Cy-Fair ISD – all after-school activities for Wednesday, February 9, have been canceled. A decision about school closure for Thursday will be made by 5 a.m. tomorrow after travel conditions have been assessed.

HCC (Katy Campus) will close at 4 p.m. Wednesday. All evening classes have been canceled at the HCC Northwest Katy Campus.

Hempstead ISD – all schools will close at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday due to weather conditions.  Classes will resume as normal on Thursday, February 10.

HISD – All after-school activities scheduled for Wednesday have been canceled.

Houston’s First Baptist Academy – primary school and encore extended care will close at 4 p.m. Wednesday. All other after-school activities are canceled.

Huffman ISD – all after-school activities canceled on Wednesday.

Huntsville ISD – school will start at 10 a.m. Thursday, due to the weather.

Katy ISD – all after-school extracurricular activities canceled Wednesday with the exception of the YMCA after-school program.

KIPP – all after-school activities scheduled for Wednesday have been canceled. There will be no buses for after-school activities.

Klein ISD—all after-school and evening activities have been canceled for today, Wednesday, February 9, 2011.

Lamar Consolidated ISD – all students will be dismissed one hour earlier than their normal dismissal time. All after-school events are canceled for Wednesday evening. Transportation service will be running one hour earlier than normally scheduled.

La Porte ISD has canceled all after-school activities for Wednesday, Feb. 9.

Lone Star College – all Lone Star College campuses, satellite center locations and the system office will close at 4 p.m. Wednesday. They will reopen at 10 a.m. Thursday. Fully online campuses will continue as scheduled.

New Caney ISD – All after-school activities scheduled for Wednesday have been canceled.

Northwoods Catholic School in Spring has canceled all after-school activities Wednesday. There will be no extended day.

Rainard School – all after-school classes are canceled for Wednesday. There will be no after-care Wednesday. All students should be picked up no later than 3:30 p.m.

Remington College – all evening classes have been canceled for Wednesday, February 9.

Sam Houston State University is closing at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, February 9. The school will reopen at 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 10. All classes scheduled between 3 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday have been canceled. Night classes at the Huntsville campus, University Center in The Woodlands and University Park in Tomball have also been canceled.

Sealy ISD will have early dismissal on Wednesday, February 9. Intermediate and junior high campuses will release at 1 p.m. Elementary and high school campuses will release at 1:20 p.m.

Spring ISD is canceling all after-school activities and meetings today, Feb. 9, due to bad weather.

Spring Branch ISD – all after-school activities canceled Wednesday.

St. Justin Martyr Catholic Preschool is closing on Feb 9 at 2:00 p.m., and the parish office will close at 5:00 p.m. There will be no evening activities.

St. Michael Catholic School of Weimar will have an early release today, Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at 12:45 p.m. due to inclement weather.

Stafford MSD – all after-school activities canceled for Wednesday. No buses will transport students after the regular run.

Strayer University, Northwest and Katy campuses – evening classes canceled on Wednesday

Texas City ISD – all after-school activities canceled Wednesday.

Texas Woman’s University -- Due to inclement weather the Houston Campus will be closing Wednesday, February 9, 2011, at 12:00 p.m. Please check the TWU website or call the emergency hotline at 713-794-2310 for updates.

Trent International School in Sugar Land, TX -- late Start at 10 AM Thursday.

University of Phoenix – Houston Campus has canceled classes for Wednesday, February 9 for all locations. 

The Village School – all after-school activities and clubs—including athletics, performing arts, etc. – scheduled for Wednesday have been canceled. Ovation (after-school care) is requesting early pick-up Wednesday.

Tomball ISD – all after-school activities have been canceled for Wednesday.

Van Vleck ISD – schools will open at 10 a.m. on Thursday. All Wednesday evening activities -- except for cheerleader tryouts -- have been canceled.

Weimar ISD is closing at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday.

West Columbia Charter School – no after-school activities Wednesday.

Wharton County Junior College – all classes after 5 p.m. are canceled for Wednesday.
