Local high school put on lockdown after family dispute

HOUSTON – A family dispute Wednesday afternoon prompted officials to put a Pasadena ISD high school on lockdown.

The lockdown happened around 4:15 p.m. at Dobie High School in the 10220 of Blackhawk.

According to police, a wife took refuge in the school and asked for police and EMS to respond after an argument with her husband.

Officials put the school on lockdown while police searched for the suspect. The lockdown was lifted about 6:00 p.m.
