HOUSTON – A Houston man is on a mission to teach drivers how to safely pass cyclists on the road, and he’s doing it by riding with a camera and a flag.

"I’ve basically got a flag that sticks out exactly three feet from the edge of my bike," said Dan Morgan.

Drivers are supposed to stay at least 3 feet away from riders. People who ride bikes all the time around the city say they get passed way too close.

Morgan decided to record his rides and send them to city hall. He hopes his videos will have a bigger impact.
