TEXAS CITY — A Livingston High School teacher was arrested Tuesday after he was accused of embracing a girl intimately at a city park, authorities said.

Timothy E. Glenn, 48, of Polk County, remained jailed Tuesday night on a felony charge of criminal solicitation of a minor. His bond was set at $25,000, Texas City police Chief Robert Burby said.

Two people called police Tuesday morning, saying an older man was with a girl at Godard Park at Loop 197 North and 23rd Street North. The witnesses accused the two of embracing in an intimate manner, Burby said.
